We are back at the State Park this year, near or inside the Lighthouse Pavilion, depending on the weather. Remember that a Recreation Passport is required to enter the park.
The sale is scheduled for Saturday, May 16. Sales start at 9am and run until noon or until sold out; we take cash, check or credit card. There will be no early sales.
We will have some boxes available but it's always a good idea to bring your own!
Why should we care about native plants? Native plants have co-evolved with our native birds, bees, insects and animals. They thrive in local areas and require fewer human input. Their long roots help rainwater soak into ground quickly, and their filtering ability helps protect our rivers and lakes from pollution. Native plants also replenish groundwater and sequester carbon. Native plants give us a direct connection to nature and to place. Even small additions of native plants improve the environment and benefit wildlife.

Please note: while the plants listed are those that were ordered, we will not know until just before the sale which ones we will be getting. Occasionally the nursery will not be able to provide everything we ordered.
