The "days until vacation" countdown clock ran out today!
Travel day was uneventful other than the amount of traffic we encountered - quite a change from peaceful Tawas. The airport was packed but we made sure we had plenty of time for a relaxing start.
Flying first class is such an upgrade from coach, that's for sure. Plenty of room and a hot dinner - quite a treat.
Seattle airport was nuts as well and it didn't help that our fllight was delayed due ot mechanical difficulties. But we finally made it around 1 am, checked into the motel (Best Western Country Lane Inn - older but well maintained), and went right to bed.
A ramp worker was wearing a cone costume! He was a hoot.
