Our beautiful lighthouse was built in 1876 which makes 2026 the 150th birthday!

A special edition garden flag is now available to mark the occasion, while supplies last!  Cost:  $20 per flag (no stand included) and are only available from the Friends.  They are not sold in the gift shop.

Great news! Our friends at the Brew Krew have generously offered to have the beautiful 150th Anniversary garden flags for sale in their shop! All proceeds go to the Friends for special projects like the Lighthouse Pavilion and Trackchair. Cash only, please! Flags are $20.

The Brew Krew is located at 211 Newman St., East Tawas. Open 9-6 daily except Sunday (10-4).

The lighthouse celebration will last into 2027 with special events in the spring to commemorate the day the lantern was first lit! Watch our website for details.

Ordering

Order flags by sending an email to: info@tawasligthousefriends.com.  

We do not take orders by phone or from Facebook.

The flags can be shipped for a fee of $10.  If shipment is required, please include your address in the email.

Payment:

1. Payment can be by cash (in person)

2. Check (in person or by mail to Friends of Tawas Point State Park, PO Box 152, East Tawas 48730)

3. Credit card ((hrough an online invoice sent to your email address).  Prepaid orders will be held at one of the pick up sites in your name.
